Senior PHP/Laravel Developer

We are searching for a highly experienced PHP developer who is proficient with Laravel to build web applications for our company. In this role, you will design and create projects using Laravel framework and PHP, and manage the team in delivering high-quality web applications, services, and tools for our business.  

You’ll be responsible for: 

• Design and implement web applications that mostly use the Laravel framework; 
• Identify and fix bugs that are found within code; 
• Interact with SQL databases; 
• Collaborate with software developers and architects to analyze requirements, build software components and deliver solutions; 
• Coach, mentor, and motivate junior and middle developers to promote accountability and a deep sense of urgency for our work; 
• Implement best practices, coding, and security standards, using the industry-standard tools into building enterprise web applications; 
• Utilize backend data services and contribute to increase existing data services API 
• Document the development process, architecture, and standard components 
• Contribute to the successful delivery of projects by analyzing, researching, and solving application problems.

Must Have: 

• Minimum 5+ years experience working with PHP and 3+ years experience working with Laravel, performing unit testing, and managing APIs such as REST; 
• Deep knowledge and proficiency in HTML and JavaScript; 
• Deep knowledge of SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL databases; 
• Understanding of the MVC pattern; 
• Solid knowledge of OOP concepts; 
• Experience using Git; 
• In depth knowledge of object-oriented PHP and Laravel PHP Framework; 
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements; 
• Strong analytical, creativity and innovative thinking, problem-solving, critical thinking and time-management skills; 
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; 
• Willingness to work on-site at normal work hours; 
• Knowledge of English at Advanced level.

Nice to have: 

• Experience with React, Redux, Node.js; 
• Knowledge of Cloud concepts; 
• Proficiency in Microservice Architecture; 
• Experience with Agile Software Methodology
